Remarks & Notes

The "West Local" climbs away from the old Texas village of Scallorn as it heads to Brownwood to tie up for the night at 1745. The 2899 started life as SP GP35 7743 and was later rebuilt by M-K to -2 standards, received 645 power assemblies in her 567, and was redesignated a GP39M by BN.
