C&O 614 sit basking in the yard lights in Norfolk Southern's Reading Yard awaiting the o-69 crew who is inbound to pick her up & take her westward & then southward for her journey for the Virginia Museum of Transportation. The yard is not nearly as busy as years gone bye but I can only imagine when the last time was that a Steam Locomotive sits in this yard which was once where the Reading Railroad caled it's home!
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
