While there have been rough trips for the Empire Builder this winter including annulled trains, the cold isn't bothering #8 this morning. 201 east glides through River Jct. meeting a westbound IC&E train seen to the left. An eastbound CP freight #396 slipped into the center track minutes before to let the Builder past. Once across the river, the LaCrosse, WI station stop will be made.
