Remarks & Notes |
It's after sunset the night of one of the biggest snows in recent memory in Rocky Mount NC, and frozen switches are wreaking havoc on CSX. A late running P089, after stopping just north of town for the conductor to walk the train to look for a noted defect, was allowed to creep up behind P079 which was still in the station until just a few minutes prior. P079 had been waiting in the station for much longer than usual whilst CSX crews worked to clean out the frozen crossover switches just behind the photographer at "Charlie Baker". |
