| It Never Rains in California, the Girls Don't they Warn Ya! - Amtrak Train 591 makes a late station stop at Fullerton California on wet December night. Usually this would be a miserable event, however the storm blew in from Hawai'i and is known as the Pineapple Express due to the warmth of the rain. Suffice it to say we will not be skiing for Christmas this year since the snow level is at 8000 feet and this storm has proved disastrous for the local resorts because it melted what little of the white stuff we had. |
