Remarks & Notes |
With a new CSX crew on board this loaded ethanol off the CP/D&H prepares to depart CP tracks at the south end of Kenwood Yard and roll onto the CSX Port Sub. This location is the junction point between CSX and CP. The train will make a short run to Selkirk and then onto New Jersey after changing to CSX power at Selkirk. The CSX Port of Albany ethanol terminal and the NYS Empire State Plaza are in the background. The short square building is the NYS Museum followed by the Agency Buildings and the Corning Tower which is one of the tallest buildings in upstate NY. This train took a unique Midwest US-Toronto-Buffalo-Binghamton-Albany-CSX (interchange) routing. |
