Remarks & Notes

In the evening light a ballast train participating in the construction of the new Loachapoka siding makes its way out of the Vulcan quarry and onto the mainline for the last time. Tomorrow the switch from the main to the quarry will be removed and a new one will be added to the newly constructed siding. Here is what the location used to look like.
