Remarks & Notes
Westbound C&O No. 41, the Newport News section of the "George Washington," makes its daily stop at Richmond's Main Street Station. On this day, it was led by dirty and battle scarred B&O E8A No. 1452. B&O power on the C&O in Richmond was becoming more common, especially on passenger trains.
