L&N 785 and companion wait in the afternoon sun at the Cincinnati Union Terminal. I had permission to take this shot, yet the next day when I went back, I was told it had been many years since a railfan was allowed to take photos from the platforms. My guess was that they just didn't want to be bothered with railfans that day as my two fellow railfans and I had railfanned cautiously the previous day and were not hassled in any way.
