Remarks & Notes
WW&F Ry CMO Jason Lamontagne fashions the rear smokebox ring for WW&F No 9. The front and rear rings will be hot-riveted to the smokebox, then riveted onto the boiler itself. No. 9's new boiler waits, while her cylinders are bored and her frame made ready. Also visible in this photo is WW&F boxcar 309. One of only two extant WW&F boxcars, it's mostly kept indoors -after surviving outdoor storage on a farm for over 60 years.. www.wwfry.org
