| ALCo went on to build 50 Pacifics for the Paris-Orleans Railway Nos 3591 to 3640 in 1921. They became SNCF Nos 231B601 to 650 and No 616 is seen leaving Brodeaux-St.Jean with a train for Lyon-Perrache. These ALCo two-cylinder Pacifics and the 2-8-2s were somewhat different from the traditional French four-cylinder compounds. Photo by the late John P. Wilson.
