Remarks & Notes

If ever there was a great spot for train watching it was South Amboy and its engine change. The NJDOT GG1 that brought train #3359 from New York City moves out of the way as a neat lashup of an NJDOT E8, the only Conrail blue E8 and a patched Penn Central E8 prepare to back to the train in order to pull it down to Bayhead. The track coming towards me is the Raritan River connection.
