| Union Pacific locals from Evanston and Riverdale work to exchange trains in the small yard at Echo, Utah. A dead work train is seen parked along the center siding. Four consecutively numbered SD40-2's were on had this day, with the UP 3214 & 3215 (at left) and the UP 3212 & 3213 (at right). All four SD40-2's were manufactured by EMD for the Union Pacific Railroad in 1973. |
