| After dropping a fairly large cut of mty’s and picking up one from the day before due to a really late #938, Todays #938 has no racks, the A-Team is seen coming up the short grade out of Delanson and is getting ready to pass under the route 7 bridge. Back in the teens and many years prior there was once a station located in the vicinity called “Duane”. It probably disappeared long before the thirties but if you looked at the area today you probably couldn’t have telled that there was once a station from all the changes brought to the landscape from the creation of NY Route 7 to the eventual building of Interstate-88 in the early 80’s. |
