| The Guadalupe perishable derailed due to a locked traction motor on the lead unit, a GP40X. Due to the Coast Line being shut down, the Amtrak "Starlights" and "Spirts of California" were re-routed over the Burbank Branch. Also visible is the red warning light that would come on during a emergency brake application on the unit infront of the 8833 |
