Still looking good at 89! The Conway Scenic Railroad's 1921-vintage Canadian National Switcher poses on the turntable for photos during the line's annual Railfan Weekend. On Saturday evening, the railroad provided patrons with a free night photo shoot, which included some scenes with 7470 as well as some with the recent additions to the diesel electric stable. Although the hand rails, running boards and tires have been painted white once again, old 7470 still wears the CN Livery that was applied for a couple of photo charters in 2008 and 2009.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
