On a sunny afternoon, Restored Steam Locomotive C17 971, operated by Heritage-Operator, Southern Downs Steam Railway, crosses a concrete and steel bridge over Quart Pot Creek, just outside of Stanthorpe. Once a month, SDSR operate a return steam tour from Warwick to Wallangarra (and other destinations).
The Southern Downs Steam Railway is a volunteer tourist heritage steam railway.
Formed in 1996, the SDSR has been operating on Queensland Rail main lines in the Southern Darling Downs and Granite Belt Regions of Southern Queensland.
