| Here we have a special early evening pass of 101 through Pompano S, mp 332.0 which is a very rare site. Normally this train doesn’t come through here until 2000 or so hrs. In this consist, FEC engines 105 and104 are pulling a string of pig’s and IM’s and on the end of this special consist was the St. Augustine and the Azalea where the new president of the Florida East Coast Railway, Mr. Hertwig got a first hand look at the 368 or so miles of FEC rails from the Bowden yard in Jacksonville to the Hialeah yard in Hialeah. |
