| The Ce 6/8 II 14253 is pulling the inoperable Ce 6/8 I out of depot for moving the wheels. The Ce 6/8 I is a unique example, as it was ordered as a test unit only. No further production was planned. It was put into service in 1919 on Berne-Spiez, the only electrified line at those times. 1982, at the end of her service life, she had 2.5 mio. km / 1.55 mio. miles on her wheels. |
