Remarks & Notes
The sun has just risen on these two preserved greyhounds as they head a freight train south to De Aar during the 1991 Steam Festival. These were passenger engines reputed to be capable of 70mph on the 3 foot 6inch guage. They have 6 foot driving wheels. Happily both survive but neither are in working order.
