Remarks & Notes
Winter was hard on the Lehigh Valley and this pair of Alco C628's [625/634] has just arrived on a train from Buffalo. Railfans and some crews affectionately called them "Snowbirds". But they rode hard, were hard on the trackwork and shop personnel, other crew members and track supervisors called them "White Elephants".
