| This unit was leased to a contractor who did the switching for a nearby paper mill, which was served by a spur that tied into to the Alabama & Gulf Coast Railway at this location (close to Yellow Bluff). When I first arrived the nicely painted GP30 was parked up around the curve, pointed into the sun with no light on its sides. A few minutes later a friendly employee came up to me and after some discussion was more than happy to move it ahead to this spot where I was able to shoot it in better conditions. |
