As the saying goes, "all good things must come to an end". That expression can be applied to this veteran C&O cantilever protecting eastbound moves at HO Cabin as her last days standing are running thin. Less than 18 hours after this image was taken, the massive cantilever was torched to the ground and transported to a local scrap dealer. This would be the last time this C&O signal would see sunset after serving the Kanawha Subdivision for over 60 years.
