| The BNSF Christmas train passes under the last standing cantilever bridge ATSF signal on the old Second Division (today's Metrolink Pasadena Sub) on its way back to City of Hope Hospital in Duarte. Long a stable of BNSF and ATSF goodwill, this annual roundtrip from Duarte to Rancho Cucamongo is now threatened by both the upcoming extension of the Metro Rail Gold Line and a lack of BNSF customers west of Irwindale. |
