| Union Pacific's West Colton to North Platte manifest climbs the Cherry Hill grade of the Salt Lake Sub approaching Kaysville, Utah. The long freight is passing milepost 800, measured from Los Angeles via the old LA&SL which includes 18 miles of the Salt Lake Sub from Grant Tower in Salt Lake City. The Shepard Lane bridge and the 'sky scraper' ferris wheel at the Lagoon theme park are visible above the cab of the UP 8207. |
