Remarks & Notes |
Some of the most unique BNSF Powder River Basin coal trains are those to Basin Electric Cooperative’s Laramie River Station at Moba, Wyoming. They have one of the shortest runs of any Powder River coal trains and they travel the entire Orin Subdivision from Donkey Creek Junction to Orin Junction on each trip. AC4400CW 5668 and SD70MAC 9574 are on the point with AC4400CW 5625 and SD70MAC 9816 as DPU. Also on the rear is the Campbell Subdivision helper SD70MAC 8957 adding extra horsepower for the eastbound climb up White Tail Hill, the steepest grade on the Orin Subdivision |
