| 594 whit new design in the last day of service TRD between Madrid and Salamanca. The next day, the first 599 in active service in Spain, ending with 8 years of hegemony of the TRD in this line.
The 594 series consists of 23 units of two railcars. Eight units (594.101-594.108) incorporate the system "Sibi", becoming the first train in service in Spain with "basculación" (Tilt).
