What is a Northwestern suburban train doing at Aurora on the BN? Actually, it is the second night that Amtrak 347 to W. Quincy operated with the C&NW long-distance, intercity bi-levels. The C&NW F7s would be replaced by P30CHS, F40s and even HEP-equipped E units and the cars would be leased to the Rock Island for use in suburban service.
