| A Nevada Northern crew backs their locomotive to a short string of box cars as they prepare to send an express freight north to a connection with the Southern Pacific Railway at Cobre, some 139 miles to the north. The early February weather will be a challenge today. The main line is covered with several inches of new snow and the visibility has been severely reduced in a thick fog. These hardy railroaders will do their jobs well and their critical cargo will be delivered on time. |
