Remarks & Notes
A small diesel-hydraulic 0-4-0 awaits work at the Pacific Elevators facility. The engine is a Hunslet DH 4w, which was delivered new in September 1968 (as #1). Hunslet was founded in 1864 at Jack Lane, in an area of inner-city south Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. They are known for their shunting, industrial, tunneling and specialized locomotives. The "Jack Lane, Hunslet, Leeds" works was closed in 1995, although the company still exists. Reportedly, this engine soldiers on for new owner Viterra.
