| Beauty and the Beast. Nevada Northern's hulking Alco #93 meets the sleek, high-stepping Baldwin #40 at the south end of the East Ely Yard on a snowy afternoon. The two centenarians are in the midst of a shift change of sorts. Number 40 has just finished pulling a freight train for photographers and is in the process of assembling the line's wreck train for the afternoon session. Shortly, the 40 will cut off from this train and the 93 will assume command. |
