| The westbound North Coast Hiawatha makes its late morning stop at suburban Glenview. Former CB&Q Denver Zephyr dome-parlor-observation Silver Veranda will run as far as Minneapolis where it will be set out. Note the smooth piece of stainless steel on the right hand side next to the "Amtrak" drumhead. Evidently the car had a mishap somewhere during her history. An former NP dome sleeper is just ahead of the observation. |
