Worth waiting for at night! The early morning appearance of K790 on the original main line in Harpers Ferry. While its tempting to shoot along the within sight and busy double track main, I never regret setting up and waiting patiently over here instead, for the chance to capture scenes such as this. Due to its ability to tie up the double track main crossing over to the Shenendoah Sub across the Potomac from town, effort is made to get K790 on its journey from Brunswick before the morning commuter trains begin. Tonights train was shot at 05:15.
