Remarks & Notes

Former CB&Q dome-parlor-observation Silver Tower, built for the Kansas City Zephyr, carries the markers on the northbound Abraham Lincoln as it arrives Chicago Union Station. This was a classy little train with a dome coach, full diner and dome parlor observation, powered by E units. The huge Pennsylvania Railroad freight house lurks in the background.
