The Western Railway of Alabama Opelika Switcher had limits between Auburn, AL and West Point, GA. As of the date of this photo, there is still good industrial business around Opelika, normally resulting in the crew going on the hours of service law 5 days per week. Now, the industry and switch engine assignment are both gone
