E1950 recently traveled up north, where she managed to dodge the recruiters of the Class 18E rebuilding program and instead received a brand new paint coat. She now wears the Shosholoza Meyl livery, which means (in theory, at least) that she's off the Transnet Freight Rail roster and allocated to PRASA, the recently established Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa.
