| PNWR 1853 says farewell with the sounds of metal popping and clanging as workers use torches to cut the remaining hulk into pieces. 1853 was an SD9M after being modified in 1995 from SD7 SP 1532 nee SP 1409 nee SP 2709 nee SP 5288. In the background is the roof line of Albany Amtrak station and the distinctive Albany clock tower. |
