| The magic of steam! The Nevada Northern Railway exceeds the power of almost any superlative you can speak about it. It truly is a place that has to be seen, felt, smelled, and experienced first hand. This image was shot looking west as #93 simmers her way toward the engine house to drop her fires. On her left the sun glints off the wall of glass along the WWII era car repair shop while to the right are some older shanties in various states of repair. Looking to the west are the peaks of the Egan Range from whose hills the NN's lifeblood copper ore flowed for generations. |
