| Two "Lötschberger" trainsets of the BLS, forming the RegioExpress from Brig to Spiez, are crossing the 136 metre long Bietschtal bridge between Ausserberg and Hohtenn, 78 metre above the ground of the gorge. The main span of 95 metre was constructed for doubletrack since the viaduct was built in 1913, but had to be reinforced when the second track was laid in 1986. |
