| Agawa Canyon Tour Train riders usually come away with the obligatory "posing with the locomotives" and "looking down from the Lookout with the train facing away from you" shots. The only way to get the neat coming and going shots is to stay there. That means (unless of course you work there or miss the train back) you have to rent the "camp car" for the week (Mon. - Fri.) which we did this last week of operation for 2009. We've already put ourselves on the list to do the same next year. Rumor has it that this trainset will be repainted in a scheme inspired by the beautiful ACR trains of the past, so this may be one of the last shots of this train in motion, in this location and this scheme ever taken. |
