The first locomotive of the later wellknown Swiss Locomotive and Machine Works (SLM), built in 1873, is pushing two freight cars up the mountain on a grade of 20.0 % above Kräbel. The train has to climb nearly 1000 metre to the top, Rigi Kulm, which is visible in the background.
