| Sheltam's No.5 is a GE(SA) U26C, built new in 1977 for Douglas Colliery as their no. D5. Now it is part of the Sheltam fleet operating the rail system for Rand Uranium at Randfontein, west of Johannesburg. No.5 has brought in 10 empty ore hoppers from Cooke Plant to the loading point at Millsite and is heading back to Cooke with a full load, running long hood forward. |
