| Filthy '9F' No.92001 lays down a smokescreen as the wan early morning sun rises to catch another weary westbound freight heading through Mirfield. The textile town of Mirfield was located in what used to be called the West Riding of Yorkshire ('Riding' is old English for a third). Some faceless beurocrat decided it should now simply called West Yorkshire , abandoning centuries of tradition at the stroke of a pen. |
