| LMS Stanier Class 5 4-6-0 no. 45231 “The Sherwood Forester” passes Roman Bridge station with the rear two coaches of the Railway Touring Company’s 1Z43 08.20 Preston to Blaenau Ffestiniog “The Welsh Mountaineer” after having stalled at Pont-y-Pant and having to drop these rear two coaches off at Betws-y-Coed before continuing to Blaenau. It then ran light engine back to Betws-y-Coed to pick up these two coaches. |
