Remarks & Notes
While Arrow IIIs dominate the Gladstone Branch, push pull sets show up as well, but mostly Monday through Friday on Midtown Directs. Here, we have almost a solid set of Comet IIs and IVs, with one V on Midtown Direct Train # 6431, as it is about to pause for Stirling. Note the steel poles along the branch are replacing the old wooden poles at a pretty good pace. This has required the Gladstone Branch to be bustituted on weekends in the summer, and on weekdays, midday trains have only been able to go as far as Bernardville.
