This is one of my favorite rotary shots. That is C&TS veteran Earl Knob carefully watching the progress of OY. Soon he would be starring at us through the snow trying to figure out what these idiots were doing waiting to get buried, not to mention pummelled by one of the ice blocks or rocks the rotary occasionally throws. Why I had set up a photo line there is a somewhat embarrassing story that I won't go into. But Earl being the humanitarian that he is stopped the train and suggested it would be a really really good idea for us to move to the other side.
