BHP 5637 and unidentified unit head a loaded Yandi iron ore round the big curve near the 250km peg on the Mt Newman line. The DPU units (5644/5663) in the middle of the train can be seen on the curve. At the time this picture was taken in 2002, BHPIO claimed that these trains were the longest and heaviest trains in the world. The 3.75km trains had 4 locos (2 as DPU units in the middle) hauling 208 ore cars, each carrying approximately 125 tonnes of ore, for a total load of 26,000 tonnes.
