The sun has risen over the Wellsville Mountains and another day has begun at Union Pacific's terminal at Brigham City, Utah. UP 3723, a vintage EMD SD40-2 built for the UP in February 1980, will power the LCG46 local from Brigham City to Ogden and return. The beautiful cut stone depot was built for the Oregon Short Line Railroad (a UP subsidiary) back in 1906 and serves as the Golden Spike museum, owned by Box Elder County.
