Amtrak train 8, the Empire Builder is just getting started on the over 2,000 mile journey from Seattle to Chicago. The train is crossing the Salmon Bay Bridge, and in the background you can see the Ballard Locks.
With the gorgeous spring weather, passengers will soon be enjoying a very scenic ride along Puget Sound.
