| Helper duty is nothing new for the '44', it has spent the better part of the last 20 years shoving trains out of Johnstown. Wearing builder number 766078-27, and having rolled out of La Grange in August of 1977 as Conrail 6384, the unit was one of the first ex Con's to go black on 14 July 1999. Soon it will be doing what it does best as Oak Island bound frieght 18G rolls east for its shove. |
